The Voices..

The voices bouncing within my head,
Come from the living and the dead.
The echoes receding within my brain,
Come from peace and come from pain.
The secrets whispered within my skull,
Come from emotion and some dull.
The screams shattering within my mind,
Come from space and come from time.
The voices, the echoes, the secrets and screams,
Are exactly as horrifying as they may seem.
They drive me into insanity, prodding my mind,
I lose track of the year, the days, the time.
The voices of lost souls awaking from the dead,
Fill every crack and crevace of my head.
They whisper silently into my ear, their voices as menacing as a wind's gust;
"Don't worry, dear, do not fear, you will soon be one of us..."
