Literature Text

I will rebel, the battle begins today. The people will meet the price that they have to pay.
I will rebel, I shall not pledge. I will stay seated and not even raise my head.
I will rebel, I will stand by my beliefs. I will not fall back, no matter if my allies leave.
I will rebel, this is my final choice. This is my decision and I will raise my voice.
I will rebel, I will change the minds of the wrong. I will show them the hurt they've caused all along.
I will rebel, I will set the captive free. I will raise above and welcome the disgraced, no matter who they may be.
I will rebel, I will deny all the lies. I can find out what is truth, I can see it in their eyes.
I will rebel, my heart is pure and strong. It pounds with pride and warmth as powerful as a bang of a gong.
I will rebel, and I will not fall. I will stay above despite how I'm so small.
I will rebel, I will stand out. I will be the savior in the cowardly crowd.
I will rebel, I will save the broken. I will let my mind finally be spoken.
I will rebel, I will stand up for what is right.
I will rebel, the decision has been made tonight.
From now on, in school, I'm going to refuse to stand up for the pledge of allegiance nor show any American pride, because until LGBT's, etc. are accepted, and we're all simply called Human, there is no "Liberty and Justice for all" I don't care if I get sent to the principal or suspended. Give me detention, I don't care. I'm standing up for what's right.

Though I respect your choice to freedom of speech, I think it is not the most effective. The real problem is not that pledge, it is the people in power. It is the president who will force you to get health care but wont strike marriage or discrimination laws. It is the congress who will not uphold the Constitution by striking discriminating insurance policy. It is the religious community who support politicians who support the continued discrimination.

It is not the Constitution, that document limits the government to what it can do....It is the law that binds the government. The pledge is your pledge to uphold that Constitution by forcing the government to obey it.

Consider this please. Protest the corruption of the governing body, not the Constitution.
